GR86 Bizarre price increase information on Toyota's website

A friend has drawn my attention to the fact that the GR86 is being shown on the Toyota website with an OTR price over and above what it was when we all ordered.

This is despite the car being well and truly sold out.

I'm confused why they would do this and when the revised prices would apply.

My understanding is that the original £30k plus paint still applies to those of us with orders in (please correct me if I'm wrong). My understanding is that they've all sold (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Maybe if you are on the waiting list, someone cancels, and a car comes up now you would have to pay the new price?

Has Kwasi Kwarteng got a new job in charge of Toyota website information?

Without excusing my/my mate's sub-optimal appreciation of the information, what's interesting is that I very quickly came to the conclusion that Toyota had f**ked things up again.

Entirely excusable, I propose, due to their comprehensive clusteref**kery so far. Quite understandable to suspect sh*thousery on Toyota's part.

I feel like this happened to the Yaris tbf.

Found a post saying in Feb the Circuit Pack went up to £34,620 and from July the website is still showing it as £35,610 and you can't buy one of those either!

I'm not sure what these random songs are doing on here, but I do know that if I ever get married again (unlikely - been there done that got the scars etc.), I will not be having @Al CrystalBlack as my wedding DJ.
