Saw this, hopefully everything can continue with a new owner including the knowhow etc but perhaps worth being extra careful with those OEM wheels.

Hopefully things can return to normal and the legacy is upheld no matter what.

I believe it is BBS Japan Co. Ltd. who manufacture the GR wheel range which is a separate company to BBS Automotive GmbH which is the one that has become insolvent. Also BBS motorsport I think is another separate entity.

Ah thank you for explaining :) I guess the IP is worth a heck of a lot but that manufacturing will be maintained.

I agree with your intention, however everything about eg the GR is circumscribed by politics eg, the fuel it uses the cats and gpf filters the crash structures. the world we live in is bounded by policies expounded by organisations that are often way beyond any form of democratic control. So while it is possible to debate something within the limits defined, to challenge those limits and their legitimancy is not allowed. There is a reason why Recaro failed. My reply was meant to get people thinking. If thinking is politics and that is not allowed I reckon we are doomed.
