I have resolved the 'unlock both doors' failures with techstream that we had today. I should have followed my own advice in the thread HERE ffs!
There are TWO settings to be toggled within the [Body Control]-[Unit Customisation] in order to get this working properly. These are:
1. [Driver's door unlock selection] from Select to ALL. I did this today.
2. [Select unlock switch] from Select to ALL. I missed this one out. Doh!

I have tested these settings tonight on my own vehicle by pressing the fob unlock button (which unlocked driver's door as expected), then leaving the fob on the floor and walking around to the passenger side to check that. The result was that the passenger side door opened without issue and without the need for a second press of the fob.
My apologies for being such a dolt. When we get together again ( @AWB @Alistair31 ) I can sort it out properly for you. It's my turn for the coffee next time anyway.

I refreshed mine, another tank of Super Unleaded this AM - The fly cemetery on the front can wait until I get back from Edinburgh tomorrow!!
