Any motorbike riders here?

Both lovely. The Monkey is cool!

I genuinely love the Monkey, can't imagine I will ever sell it. The kids are eyeing it up already! I use it to get to and from work on mainly as long as its not chucking it down. the 120 - 150mpg is nice too!

Year round biker unless snow and ice about (can't get the bike down the slope from its garage).
Yaris takes over then.
Next month I've owned this bike for 3 years. Never owned anything this long before. Odd ball looks, amazing on fuel, wears out tyres quicker than a 1200.
Love it for what it isn't, but what it does.

Just the 350cc

It's my every day transport also, unless there's snow or ice about of course.

The proper ADV is too tall for my short legs.

I had the first one in Scotland but came to the same kinda conclusion as you - too many near misses, lost mates and riding-like-a-dick moments to stay with it. Bit of a crash on the supermoto (on track) also slowed me down for a few weeks - 6 broken ribs is a bit nippy.
One of these years I'll get a bike again, but more to get back into the craic on group rides than anything else.

Bikes - yes very much so.
Been a hoarder / collector for many many years now.
Still own quite a few but did thin the fleet out over the last 12 months (inc an early original OW02 R7 and a RC45 and one RC30) paid some mortgage off and bought the GR with the proceeds
I still have a significant number of some rare old things, Only newish modern bike i own is a RS660
But i do have a bit of a thing for the old Foggy Petronas FP1's and these have taken over my life a little

Nice.

Did go on one last spin when we had that warm day a few weekends ago. Went Bwlch, Rhigos, Penderyn, Llandovery, Carmarthen, Llanelli, back to Mumbles for a Verdi's ice cream then home. Gave me chance to test my new lid. Has been superseded now but got it cheap from Spain. So much lighter and quieter than my old Shark

I’ve been wearing hjc the last few years now, on my third. A better visor system than previous Arai and far cheaper 👍
I picked the bike up on Monday eve , managed to get out on Tuesday. Only 120 miles so far, hoping for a couple of dry before the salt comes down

I’ve had lots of bikes, mostly BMW in recent years

The one I’ll get when I do decide to get another is a marmite bike

A standard BMW K100 (The “flying brick”)

I had one that has been turned into a scrambler but fancy a mint standard one… pick the right bike and it’s almost in classic territory with no road tax to pay 👍🏻

I’ve had a few as mentioned but I think this was my favourite.. Lots of trick bits on it:

“Holy Thread Revival, Batman!” Nowt since 2022 then it pops up from the depths of the forum. What wizardry is this? 🧙‍♂️

Edit: I may as well join in. I sold my last bike (a Guzzi) a couple of years ago having decided to give it up. The bike wasn't even run in and still had the hairs on the tyres!
I've been riding since the early 80s on a Yamaha RS100 (at 16) then, when I'd saved enough money, a Yamaha RD250LC. Since then I've had a Honda 600, Yamaha MT01, Ducati ST3S, Ducati Diavel and a Moto Guzzi Anniversario. I don't have may pics but here's what I do have. Note the safety trainers, scarf and New Romantic 80s bleached hair-do ;) :
