Are these worth fitting with a std turbo set-up also any feedback on the Airtech and Weldspeed manifolds as there is a gap in pricing?

From my own research and candid conversations with tuners. There are marginal gains only on a stock frame turbo. There are anecdotes of more mid range torque but no data (that I can find).

I have the weldspeed on my car. Standard turbo but pretty close to maxed out. 370 bhp

I got it because I felt the car lost mid range and low end torque with the gpf delete. It was fast but I felt like you had to be on it. The weldspeed helped but I still was searching for more. The map was adjusted to take advantage of the manifold and the HJS sports cat and it was a game changer. These two unlock all the potential. The car is now fast and quick out the corners to the point I am sometimes feathering the throttle as it can get away from me if not careful. I would say I am probably average at best with performance driving but it’s now entertaining to drive. Before you could mash your foot to the floor and it would look after you.

For me the weldspeed is well worth the money but it is part of the system. The HJS was disappointing but when mapped correctly was amazing. Bolt it on and see but expect to adjust the mapping to get the best from it

Thanks both for your feedback.

The plan is to maximise on track engine performance with bolt ons due to the big jump in cost of going with a full frame turbo & forged block with diminishing returns vs. Spend

I have weldspeed with collins map, again no data but mid range is very noticeably improved, perhaps not £900 improved but I'm sure with more input as a system as GJR writes reckon worth it. I hate airtec product quality so would never have touched that, whifbitz offered it but I was happy to wait for the weldspeed to come from oz.
