Advanced Road-Driving Course (IAM or similar)

Happy to report my new observer is a nice guy, has good communication and is also a petrolhead.
I still need to work on my observation and brake/gear overlap but surprisingly he said if I was on a test I would've passed, which is always nice to hear. :)

I've continued my observed drives and had my mock test yesterday which went well.

Once I pass I've been encouraged to do the masters level which I'll probably do next year.

Glad I re-started the drives, just wish I hadn't been paired up with someone initially who I didn't gel with.

So worth a look if you are open minded and willing to adapt your driving style.
 
Took my IAM test this morning in the GRY and passed.

Plan is to now do the Masters test, but probably not until next year.

For those who have been driving for years and picked up bad habits on the way, its worth a look just as a refresher.
