Event 🎌 The Japfest 2023 Thread | 23/4/23 at Silverstone Circuit

3 hours there, 3.5 hours back on a journey supposed to take 1 hour 7 mins was the only downside to an otherwise great day.

Was very impressed by the size of the Zoo turnout (y)

Next time I'll try and book early enough to get in with you lot, not sure I quite belonged here... :ROFLMAO:

A big thanks to everyone who attended yesterday, without your support this forum wouldn't exist or be able to display at events such as Japfest.
So thank you all. 👏

We were happy to display 20 cars in '22, so with almost 60 on the stand this year, with a nice mix of models it's great to see we are going in the right direction and yet again we had an event where the weather was decent. 🙏

If we can get enough support then the forum will have a stand at Sports Cars in the Park, Newby Hall, 7th May and we'll also be at Simply Japanese at the Beaulieu Motor Museum 23rd July.

Finally a quick reminder to help fund the forum and keep it free for the majority then donations for mugs, stickers, posters help to keep us sustainable for the long term without having paid memberships or annoying adverts everywhere.

Hi Nigel,

GR-Zoo mugs are a £10 donation per mug incl postage to a UK address. More details here.

GR-Zoo stickers are now a £6 donation for a mixed pack of 5 stickers incl postage to a UK address. Thread is old but can be found here.

GR Yaris artwork A2 posters are £15 donation incl postage to a UK address. Details here.

GR86 artwork is also available, but I don't have a framed photo to show @beorg can you post one? Same £15 donation for the GR86 poster. Posters are unframed.

Great to meet you, Mark and Cat as well. Enjoyed our chat. :)

Had a fabulous time and the hotel bar shenanigans on Saturday were hilarious. Loved the hotel too, we must stay there again next year. Sorry I had to leave so early as I had to meet a mate for her birthday and hit Manchester hard last night. No idea how I survived in all honesty, but the show was great and it was lovely to meet so many people and have a good chat. :)
