Let's talk colours. Since the colour choice is a bit dull (idk, never seen it in person yet, but it's not amazing) compared to what was available on GT86, lets see what we could get with a bit of imagination (and image manipulation software).
Here's my amateur attempt on getting a Porsche's Miami blue, by recolouring the Electric/Neptune blue. I think it turned out a bit too glossy, it's reflecting too much, so maybe I should start from a more flat colour, or a better picture. What do you guys think?

If you have a ps5 (only sliighty easier to get a hold of than a GR86!) you can play around in gran tursimo putting other manufacturers colours on one there and it looks pretty photorealistic.

If not I can see if I can get a screenshot after work

Prefer the original EB myself.

Porsche have 3 very similar blue colours one of which you mentioned, here are 3 different blues (yes they are different)

Had black cars, nightmare to keep clean, remember cleaning one I had on a lovely summers day, looked lovely in the sun, left it on the drive went back out a couple of hours later it was a mess just from pollen dust!

Had a gunmetal grey car and it could go for years without a wash and I could cheat just by cleaning the alloys it made the whole car look clean :D

Middle is definitely Miami, left Riviera and right Mexico? Or possibly Voodoo.. I know the newer GT3 comes in Shark blue. Theyโ€™re all awesome and look similar to EB. Iโ€™ve see EB look a little like Miami in evening lighting.. although it may be edited.

I have considered a wrap when I get the car. Something like lime green to contrast the wheels. But never had a car wrapped and wonder how well is lasts.

I've always been a fan of the Porsche 'Gulf Blue'. I'd love to see that on the GR86.

I havenโ€™t got any software to do a mock up at the moe but I am thinking of changing mine from pavement grey to a midnight blue with ALOT of purple in it.
I think that would look awesome
