A tip for the wiper blades, Bosch Aero Twins £25 for a set off Amazon. Work way better than stock ones. I suspect it will be the same for the battery, just source the battery elsewhere.

I would get all of those done by a third party. None are really under warranty anyway.

What actually is the OE battery model number by the way? Looking around on either forum I can't find the exact number, and any marks on the battery I can see aren't exactly super conclusive ... the closest I've found to the spec is

Either way, £200 for labour seems pretty expensive for disconnecting a a battery throwing it at someone and popping a new one in.

Start/stop batteries tend to cost more. If like me the 1st thing you do is turn off this function, why not buy a standard battery ?

With mine a daily driver, never using start/stop, and being garaged all the time, I'd be tempted to drop the capacity and save a bit of weight.
This kit is €120, claims to save 9 kg (!) and gives you a place to store a litre of oil. It's 44 Ah compared to 65 Ah, but for my use case I think it would make no real difference. If your car sits outside or is only used as a weekend toy then I would think this is not the way to go!

I think if I'm going to change the battery, I'm defo not going to be worrying about one that needs to vent.
I know this is literally my solution to everything at the moment, but honestly you could make an adapter to nestle the smaller battery in the larger OEM bracket in CAD pretty easily.
