Yes I do.
And I know it then seems silly to experiment with Ethanol mixes.
But my car is stock. No intakes, exhausts, remaps etc.
Edit2. I also think that they need to be driven properly. I.e not loading up boost from low rpm in 5th and 6th gear. Even 4th gear. I tend to drop it down until...
I wasn't worried lol. The factory fuel system as some headroom - look at the remap crowd without fuel upgrades for example.
I'm not sure what the STFT limit is though, and yes the extra timing won't be added but the butt Dyno confirms E30 mix is awesome. Whether it goes bang eventually is...
Ethanol is awesome if your engine is tuned for it.
Some countries like Brazil run their cars on 90+ ethanol and I don't think they get different fuel lines etc. could be wrong but the Aussie built commodore they imported didn't anyway.
I have played with am E30 mixture in my GR Yaris, for...
And yes, you have a right to do just the speed limit in the fast lane, just as cyclists have a right to ride to work during peak hour, or even just cycle for exercise, essentially making main arterial roads lose an entire lane. This can make some people's blood boil.
May I ask what lane were you in? The fast lane, middle lane or slow lane? What is the speed limit?
My son just got his P license, and I tell him to drive chill in the slow lane or normal in the middle lane. Never do either of those things in the fast lane or things like this can, sadly...
100%. The original was not wife/girlfriend friendly.
"You went from a BMW to this???".
"Where do I put my handbag?"
"It's so loud in here"
"You spent how much on a Toyota hatchback"
"Manual only, in 2020?"
If your wife/girlfriend approved of your gen1 purchase then she is definitely a keeper.
Stock is fine for me, I've had faster cars, tougher cars, better track day suited cars.
I guess I have started to hate the modified car scene, the idiots who want to sell their bullshit products and the idiots who buy something they can mod for their socials.
Id rather spend the money on fuel...
Shame as it is not a track car, it's meant to be a zippy road car.
For track why don't you buy Megane 3. With your budget, you would probably enjoy dominating, not repairing
Well done!
Im looking for a new daily, looking at a Toyota Fortuner (Hilux wagon, coil rear end, shorter wheelbase) and even got a decent trade in offer on the GRY.
In the end I couldn't give it up, so I'm looking at different options, probably a Fortuner but a few years old.
