I once used the red nozzle to literally blast a hole in the ground and cut the roots of a hedge tree. Worked remarkably well.

The short triggers (guns) come with multiple nozzles with different spray angles that regulate pressure, no need to adjust it on a lance. I pretty much always use green for car washing (closer distance for prewash, further distance for rinsing).

I have both, never installed the resonated midpipe though. Non res is perfect, not too loud, no drone. Cold start is too loud. Saw a clip of non res and the owner said it's hardly any louder, only a bit deeper in sound over stock. He changed the midpipe as well.
