By all accounts, it is the TPMS. What is the "fix" ... inflate to correct pressures, or inflate higher then drop 'em back to correct? My wife's car had same yesterday. So cold that pressure were below correct by whatever margin is permited. Simply topped up the air and all was good.

I'm sure a GR86 would better 18 mpg in normal use. My Subaru Forester XT 2.0 averages 19 mpg ... despite being 18 years old; on 140K miles and mostly used for short trips (often driven briskly).

I have a multicar policy with Admiral (Alpina, Forester, Vitara). So I added the GR86 too. I used a reg from the press fleet, which it didn't reconcile to a GR86, so then used the drop down to select GR86 etc and left the reg as was. I set the policy inception date for the 12th Nov. Now...

Email from Toyota today confirming finance, no private reg and no p/ex. Also, GR86 now on Admiral website. Just insured mine and with a start date of 12th November. Let's see how close to that date delivery actually is.

I also said no insurers list the GR86, but was told this would be resolved ahead of customer deliveries. I was reminded, "there's 3 days drive away insurance, and Toyota Insurace too " .... which doesn't list it either.

Admiral tend to have a broad database - they've had my various Alpinas listed each time. My guess the the best indicator that customer deliveries are imminent is went the GR86 begins to appear on the majority of the insurance websites.

Just in case my delivery date of 11th Ocotober is in fact true, I'm now hunting for insurance, since there'll be no driving without. However, I can't find the GR86 on any insurer's website, inluding Toyota's own insurance quoting tool. GR comes up, but lists only the Yaris. GT86 is there too...
