Hi, there's a good video on you tube by Tegiwa on lots of options available it helped me chose my HKS super turbo muffler exhaust. It's well made and not too loud or droney . My car is my daily drive and I'm very happy with the exhaust
That's great information, I have heard of coolant reservoirs failing so this explains why. I've had residue of coolant on the top of the reservoir so now I know why. Many thanks
I recently did a track day in my GRY with Michelin Primacy 4 tyres, the track was damp in places, then wet, then aqua planning at 90 mph and finally mostly a dry track.
I cannot fault these tyres for track days or your daily commute .
I had a fab day at Cadwell Park, weather was biblical, very heavy rain and deep standing water, but the GRY just took it all in it's stride. Aqua planning at 90 mph was very interesting but the car just dealt with it.
Thanks to Collins tuning , Eventuri (air intake) and HKS (exhaust) . My car...
I'm on early 19,000 miles , weather has been crap in England so cleaning has been very difficult. A quick blast with a pressure washer has had to do.
I hope you had a big smile on your face during the drive.
That's a great explanation . The oil is the life blood of the engine, our engines work very hard so needs a thin oil 0/20 but to keep the heart of the engine beating the oil needs quality additives that protect the moving parts and keep the oil in good condition .
Reading many oil stories on here in England , dealerships would use vegetable oil rather than the correct oil as they didn't understand the needs of the GRY engine. I think they are slowly learning how to service these cars correctly.
Regarding storage of your GR. I'm in the UK , use my GR daily but have a classic car in storage. My classic is in a secure garage, no heating but I use moisture blocks in the garage. The battery stays on the car with a battery conditioning charger monitoring the batteries condition and providing...
Update on my tyre choice, plenty of standing water this evening so a great chance to see how these tyres deal with it. Chucked it in track mode and went searching for standing water. The new rubber didn't disappoint, they were very grippy even through deep puddles.
Hi, I'm very surprised you haven't got one fitted. That's the 1st thing I did when I took delivery of mine. It's extra protection for your pride and joy, your insurance cost will also reduce. Thatcham website will give you a good idea of what's available . Fitting a tracker is also worth...
