What type is it? (AGM, Lithium etc.)
I have AGMs (although not on the 86) and there's no discernable difference in use.
The voltage you're seeing when the engine is running is the alternator output, rather than the battery voltage as such, and that shouldn't really behave any differently...
Well I could've sworn (maybe just assumed) we had this function by default, but no, I've tried it and no auto-relock!
Must be part of the alarm function ;)
I went from the standard 18" wheels with PS4 to 17" Ultraleggera with Michelin CC 215/45 and the ride is much better in my opinion.
My 86 is my daily and I prefer more of a GT setup, rather than out and out sports car, on our typically crappy British roads.

I took the door cards off so that I could finally install the Focal speaker kit I bought from @Alex-GR86 a while back.
While I was at it, I fitted the sound deadening he included, and the window mechanism washers to stop the 'crack' that had developed after it was parked up for 6 weeks after my...
There is this GRZ mod box
The repeats are annoying, however after I reset the system to my preferred pressures it hasn't really thrown any spurious alerts.
One exception is when I park near a certain building it always throws a rear left pressure alert!
I actually thought the car would learn the new position if the wheels were swapped around? (as this is common practice to even up tyre wear etc).
But that aside, a good independent fitter will have a tool that can read the TPMS sensor ID without dismounting the tyre.
If you can get access to the...
There were no new 86s available in the UK after early 2024 due to regulation changes (apart from a few JDM imports).
It was a struggle to get any here, and there's only around 1500 in total.
Striking colour (color!) - enjoy your modding experience.
Can we see a pic of the full back end with the...
Depends on how flat, for how long, but quite possibly it's dead after a week.
Did your charger actually put any charge in? A lot of modern chargers won't do anything if the battery is too flat to be detected.
Sometimes they'll have a boost or force mode to kick things off, or you can connect...
I think it's pot luck on the buyer rather than Motorway themselves - they're basically an agent through which bids are made.
I sold my Fiesta through them and it was OK but the buying dealer knocked off a grand for various 'things that need addressing'. A few days later it was up for sale on a...
Unplugging the antenna isn't part of that feature.
Mine's evidently happened by accident as it's rather exposed just stuck on the support beam like that - seems like a bit of an afterthought.
Out of curiosity I did an OBD scan before reconnecting it but but no faults were reported.
That error...
Tidied the boot and found this unplugged thingamajig:
I believe it's an internal antenna for the keyless system to stop you locking the key in the boot.
Thanks!
Yes, unmodified apart from the wheels.
I don't seem to have many angled shots but they're not proud at all, so I think an extra 8mm would be fine.
I'll try and take a couple of shots over the next day or two (any excuse!) but I think you can get an idea of the rears at least:
170.9 for Super at my local Texaco yesterday, so 74 quid fill-up
Combined with a lad holding the shop door open for me and asking "Is that your Supra?" :ROFLMAO:
At least he knew what an 86 was when I corrected him, then said it's a nice car and is it on Insta...
