🤔 There must have been a run on this fabric recently, because I too have ordered some - mainly for the bottom of the doors, where shoes can catch on the plastic trim when getting out in situations where the door can't be opened fully. The Chinese must be baffled about this sudden peak in sales! 😄

I laughed out loud after reading your first paragraph.

I too have found signs of possible rubbing, with a 5mm long shallow 'divot' on the pipe where it arcs around. Can't see any marks on bonnet liner, but I've taped a small piece of paper towel over the pipe to see if that wears away.
