17" GT86 Alloys with Michelin Cross Climates tyres (215/45 R17). Approx 6mm of tread across the tyre. Recently refurbished and now cleaned and tyres dressed. Come complete with tyre storage bags. I'm not willing to ship, but can maybe meet ½ way (as long as that's not Cornwall or Thurso!)...
Although there was some snow locally, yesterday, changed the alloys over to the summer set today. They look so much better
Before I put them on the marketplace, I will be selling the 'winter' 17" GT86 alloys (recently refurbed) with Michelin Cross Climates tyres on.
Losing my storage...
I'm not officially retired yet (although I've not done any paid work since end of December), but I saw an endless blue sky today and decided to tackle a couple of Lake District passes that I hadn't done for a while
Just back now and something like 240 miles later - it was bloody lovely!
Top of...
I put my Cteck on the car Friday night and took it off Saturday morning and TBH I haven't used it since. Just preventative maintenance on my behalf - mine has never failed to start but I'm using it less these days . . .
The suns out  Woo-Hoo :giggle:Up early to give the car a well deserved wash & brush-up (Forecast is for snow tomorrow ). Even treated the cross climates to some dressing - only another 6 weeks or so before I can think about putting the 18" back on
Year 3 service completed at Toyota dealer <shock> All good, no problems. Only thing I need to look at, it doesn't say what grade of oil was put in, only Syntium 7000 Hybrid
(Edit - which I've looked online is 0W-20)
(Edit 2- almost forgot, about 30 mins in and I got a call to ask if I wanted...
I ordered the window washers (for the crack problem) and a set of wiper blades some time ago. Neither turned up and via a phone call, I found the wipers were out of stock and would be about a month, but they hadn't let me know and didn't send the washers separately . . .
Managed to fit a car wash in between the rain - battery plugged into the Ctek for a bit of a boost - not driving to work every day should bring the mileage average down - about to turn over 23k. Year 3 service early next month (MOT already done elsewhere than the dealer)
@Swizzle I've just had a chat with my MoT garage (booked for Monday) about this very scenario and he has said he won't fail it, if this is illuminated as I can inform him it's not a fault as the TPMS are not present - or something like that
I did it over the phone. There was lots of options as far as payment went (cheque in the post!), but I used my Chase debit card and actually received the confirmation e-mail while I was on the same call
Well that was the quickest way to spend a load of money and have nothing different to show for it - other than the big blue object outside my window being 100% mine!
