    GR86 Door clack/slap/tap/rattle noise.

It isn’t one of the door cables, there are two of them?

    GR86 Good quality USB Cables

Sadly, like most things, they all are made from China (I then read your small txt), so I have found myself now buying from AliX and missing out the UK middle man reseller who is trading on eBay and Amazon and saving myself £££. Don’t get me wrong, not always but do now check. With cables...

    GR86 Good quality USB Cables

These have proved useful as a different approach. USB A end can be inserted either direction which is a nice design touch.

P1 - Invoice with break down of parts and fluids used. P2 - Service checklist (as per photos) P3 - Body and underbody inspection checklist P4-6 Visual Safety Report (VSR) Also a video sent through. Met with the master tech (trained on GR vehicles) who undertook the work as well, he went...

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

2nd annual service recently completed @ just over 4k miles. Found brake and diff fluids (as well as the others) clearly marked on the paper check list that the mechanic completes. All done without any discussion or fuss.

GR86 "That's a fresh whip bruv"; or the Toyota GR86 collated feedback thread

Walking back to the car at the far end of a supermarket carpark with my wife, we clocked a gent, would place in his 60’s, getting closer to the car. Given that there was no others around, it was a given he had intent to go up to the GR. Whilst looking at the rear of the GR he turned around to...

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Not looked at battery replacement, but can see why you would want to, out of interest did you look at AGM variants, given the benefits these have over wet design?

GR86 Scottish Toyota main dealer recommendation (and no I am not pulling your leg!)

Second service has now been completed today at Toyota Hamilton. Fiona was on leave, but all was booked in advance with the car assigned to Ryan (master tech) and arrived promptly at 08:30 in the same format of work whilst you wait. Reception lady showed me to a quite area with a single desk so...

    In-coming Scottish GR86 Owner

Welcome from the top of the Scottish Borders (Biggar). Certainly remember the Rallye’s editions of the Pug’s, so that makes me old then…. D’oh! Are you sourcing the 86 locally or from afar? Anything been added to it? Coming from a 981 you will probably find the 86 ‘light’.

    New in town

Welcome! Nice garage collection. Road conditions are a national embarrassment, we have now signposts that are literally falling down due to rust and decay at ground level. Thankfully the GR86 makes as good as job as it can in keeping things flowing as much of the time as possible!! You...

GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

I got the door and rear shelfs covers in the fabric variant. The door profiles were not a close enough colour match, not helped with the size of material so my eyes were comparing the top OEM fabric to the bottom, they were sent back. The rear shelf covers do not like even a Scottish warm day...

Hello from Arcachon, southwest of France!

Hi Vince, welcome to the forum! Alas, not from France, based in Scotland, but plenty of the members take their GR's into Europe. Are you enjoying the GR as much now as you did when you got in in Dec 23?

    GR86 Tyres on Stock Wheels

I’ve ran MPS4’s on the MX5 and just changed to Goodyear F1 6’s and already can hear the difference in reduced road noise. Interestingly both the MX5 and GR are fitted with stretched tyre profiles out of the factory. Trying to find tyres that are not XL is getting increasingly difficult...

    GR86 Reducing Front End Noise

Lots of good reviews, a point that I picked up was the brace fixing is to a single thread on either end. I have emailed Nameless on this to see what they have to say. Had a weekend away down to Yorkshire and overall came back very impressed, the wife as much as me, but if I can do something...
