At the end of the day main dealer techs ‘should’ all be trained to a good level, esp the master techs no matter which MD you visit, however we all know that this is far from reality.
Agree engine bay can be dusty but not covered in specks like that, inlet manifold cover is not like that for...
Ah how could I omit this very obvious inclusion of a stupid facial expression on a thumbnail overlayed onto what would usually be a good picture of a nice car, with a caption in a mixture of caps and loads of explanation marks.:LOL:
Been running with the nameless bars for a while now, everything else is stock and what a difference, done a couple of couple of 2 hour drives on all surfaces and speeds and very happy with the reduction of noise. Motorways especially. My wife welcomes the improved cabin noise comfort so...
This is interesting as I feel that I need a better feel/confidence in the OEM brakes, but not sure I want the £££ of a BBK. Unless a set was coming back of a GR and was at a favourable price.
Did you go for the braided lines or just the Dot5.1?
Interesting, have similar thoughts about running AS’s on my MX5, as the ambient temp increases I find they roll off when pushing on. For the Scottish climate and how good AS have become I will choose them over a full winter tyre as we have such variable temps in Spring.
Nameless firewall v-brace bars fitted on Sunday and what a difference they make. The bulkhead ‘roar’ noise no longer there and a dramatic bump up in cabin comfort. My wife said to me ‘okay what did you do as this has made a big difference’, job done!
So yes , can recommend!

Yes clearly you like your Toyota’s. Good effort on the MR2 btw, i can relate as am 10 years into my ownership from new of my MX5 ND, it’s still a fresh today as it was...
Was driving through the well-to-do part of Edinburgh this morning, more akin to driving on the moon!!! So nowhere has any hope of smooth roads anytime soon.

Aye the extra brake fluid was a nice touch I thought.
Out of interest did you have your handbrake adjusted?
Glad you got it sorted. 2nd service FOC is not to be sniffed at either.
Interestingly my handbrake was adjusted on second service (4200 miles) as part of the checks. I am preferring it now as it has less travel before it bites.
Vowed never to give Newbridge main dealer outlets (any) a single nickel for a few years now, they are lazy, lie and service is something you find under their shoes. Bottom line is it’s Edinburgh, so they don’t have to try (sadly).
Of course totally up to you, but given how you are with your...
