Autodocs prices can fluctuate a fair bit from day to day. Not looked at them before so if anyone else is in the same position thought it was worth a mention.
Agree, it is all down to what you do as a driver and your preference.
Based Scotland one thing I didn’t appreciate until I changed to grooved and dimpled on my MX5 is you don’t have to worry about water wash off in that initial application, it’s a feeling I now don’t like with standard discs.
Not sure I would want the risk any of that tape falling down the threaded hole when you come to remove and replace the valve in the future.

Phoned my local Subaru dealer £14.08 inc vat, local Toyota £33.07 inc vat and on BO, currently end of month, and we’ve heard that one before!
Needless to say, one now ordered from Subaru, no concerns at the moment but good to have to call upon.
Came across a GR86 that has been broken down for parts on eBay - Torque Motors.
Mostly interior items are listed with a few external (grey) and chassis hardware.
Thought it was worth a shout out, and I’ve no affiliation to the seller btw.
