Took me days to do mine. Keep at it. Make sure you loosen or practically unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the hub so that you can gain more space.

I think the only significant weight I have added has been the bigger brake discs front and rear, reckon that is between 10-12kgs. I have no spare tire.
