I didn't say the GR cars use Mobil. Toyota don't make their own oil they have had Mobil oil for many years re-branded as their own. Someone might find out who makes the oil for the GR cars. Purely a guess, I would expect this to also be mobil - probably one of their higher spec ones or it could...
Toyota don't make oil. Mobil makes it for them and Toyota put their own name to it as do many products these days.
Be carefull not to get too paranoid over this. All garages will have at least one person trained to work on the GR models.
Sometime you just have to trust them and we can cause far...
It is true what KSC says about being able to get cheaper cover. I got greenflag for my little city car as it never goes out of Bradford and I know there are many local garages in the area that get called out for them.
I am old fasioned and like RAC and AA and when needed over the last 40 years...
Just about to renew my breakdown cover with MrT expecting £76 for another year and find they are offering two years for £135 - one payment.
It is full cover with the AA so I think this is a bit of a bargain at £67.50 per year.
Any money we can save on something I was going to buy anyway must be...
I was contacted by Toyota garage on Friday and told that Toyota interest rates go up today (2nd) for new and used cars so get that Aygo I was interested in.
Wonder whether the rise in costs are driving them up a bit. Not buying it now as my Seat Mii that Toyota offered me £3500 for against a new...
I had a new red XR3i back in the 80s and loved that car. I knew what I was getting with the GRY regarding size and impracticality.
No coincidence I bought a red, small hot hatch again and as with you, 100% happy.
Enjoy!
On the way home I had a slightly worrying few seconds.
My car went in a couple of months ago for the recall update with the software.
Very nearly home going through the centre of Bradford. Clear ahead but traffic behind when a pedestrian walked towards the button at the lights. He was about a...
I followed a plonker out who kept spinning the rear wheels throwing stones up so I gave him about 50 meters. Not impressed with that way out but the day was enjoyable. I didn't miss the really expensive cars we saw at Newby and the people who owned them. A good selection of older cars and their...
Araf,
It is just my observation after buying new cars for about 35 years - 20 with Toyota.
I have always had service plans and with Toyota for many years had two cars with them.
I can't remember the cost going up as much as it did a month ago.
I think it is too much of a coincidence that the...
Good prediction Andy but what is the weather forecast for our particular patch of grass? :sneaky:
I always assume it is members of this site only but I suppose anyone with a GRY can book a ticket. Hope we do get our own plot otherwise I won't know where to send the strip-O-gram I have ordered.
If we don't get the 10? can we still all park together. No banners allowed so if we can be together that still sounds like our own area. We may need to meet together and drive in as a group. I don't know how it works if there are only a hand full of us.
Another prespective on this is what I found when looking at possibly trading my Seat Mii for the new Sandero Stepway and their prices.
They, like Toyota now offer 3 years warranty.
The fourth years warranty casts £150
Two extra years is £275
Three years (all 60k) is £400
so, for me that would...
How many more do we need. If we are one or two short to get our own spot I will give someone a few bob when we get there to help pay for that extra ticket.
I lasted 2 months with my GRY as my only car then I realised I dare not park it anywhere in Bradford and I just wasn't going to all of those places I used to take for granted. I bought a 5 year old Mii and it is the best thing I did. It allows me to take the GRY only when I know where I am...
Coming from Bradford so will skirt North of Leeds and pick up the A64 at Whinmoor.
Yes, please take care on the A64 so Waze needs to be on. Going to the East coast on that road for me is a favourite and Waze is essential.
Just paid for my ticket and looking forward to it.
Need someone who knows the area to suggest (probably A64) a spot for us to meet and drive in together.
Its a brand new design for a performance car. We have no idea what issues may come to light in that 10 years of use. Whatever they are, they will be expensive to put right so I see the price at £300 & £450 for a service and an extra one years peace of mind.
I have never paid for extra years...
