I think the part I was thinking of was the 'sub muffler' in attached diagram, I dont 'think' there are any sensors there or further back? MOT wise I've 2 years before that and then would swap the OEM item back in for the day. (also realise this now should be in the exhaust thread! :) )

Just for the noise, even if slight. I disconnected the sound generator (15 months later than I should have!) which is much better but now being fairly quiet its adding a bit back would be ideal. For another value for money option, there is a 2nd cat delete pipe which Im tempted to experiment...

Try it, one of the reasons I took so long as thought it would be a fiddle. 3 mins and done. Very easy to plug back in if you wanted to.

This was the video I watched. Its not the quad pipe like the TRD(?) exhaust but seems a little louder. From what I have read getting it from the US would probably involve someone you know in the US getting it from a dealer and packaging it up for you!

I used Lanoguard when i bought mine a year ago, havent looked under it since... but will do it again this week. Use Lanogaurd on our disco 2 which goes off roading and works well keeping that chassis fine.
