I absolutely love the the RP-1 one best pads have used in last 20 odd years and have tried every top range pad on large range of vehicles, reasonable kind to disc, dust not too excessive, wear rate is bit on hi side but happy to replace to benefit from outstanding retardation
try Goodyear F1 super sport, best all rounder or even Continental Contact 7 both better than ns2r
think I mentioned elsewhere the ns2r starts off ok but after 500 hard miles just becomes a different tyre
am aware no pressure its the way a Jubilee clip (not as bad as Miklor) pinches the silicon unevenly hot oil tends to find its way passed, ok for water and air but modern super slippery oils......personally wouldn't chance it
have to mention the turbo oil return pipe being silicone with a simple hose clap is a potential fail point, ideally should be solid steel pipe with gasket or threaded union
probably with this system is the bleed valve is always loose and even though the hose is in fluid at bottom of jar when lift the pedal air is sucked in around the thread of the loose valve
me personally wouldn't trust a dealer to actually do the job properly so just do it myself pretty easy, use syringe or similar to remove as much fluid from reservoir then fill reservoir right to top with new fluid
two ppl:
open bleed valve
push pedal to floor and keep it there (get confirmation...
over time have used all the big name fluids Inc the hugely expensive Castrol react
have now settled on Revenol's fluid along with their oil it's outstanding and sensible priced
what @Duke said pretty much sums it up
myself found the ns-2r had huge grip on day one and was so impressed these would be my new go to all round tyre. by day three in the Alps the hi traction disappeared, asked my colleague with same tyre and said same, initially great then soon disappointed
