The discs are made by Advics, who have a US and Japanese office and sales but no presence in the UK.

It doesn’t matter where you put the wheels (sensors), as I find it’s best to just leave the car to find them itself after refitting or changing between sets. I do have a set that don’t work however, even though my tire guys say they are transmitting a signal
