First MOT also passed! Was concerned about the Remark axleback being too loud but it was fine 😁

Just wanted to share that the GR with the Remark axleback got through the MOT just fine, even as loud as it is 😁

After a long year in Iceland with plenty of 4x4s, snow & ice, I'm finally bringing my 86 out of dry storage this week. To say I'm excited would be an understatement!!!

I've got this, only put it in the back for longer roadtrips. The wheel and kit all seem to be of good quality but it does make the boot floor sit slightly higher. The tools also have to go in the boot, not inside the wheel.

Please can you share a link? I've found a UK seller but always good to go off a recommendation.

Can entirely agree with that - I had to commute with my Remark for about a month before switching to remote working and I felt like such a knob every time starting the car at 6am 😂

I fitted mine whilst my mate was checking the alignment, the bolted connections needed loosening and tightening a few times before we got it spot on!

Living in Reykjavík for the year - an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Did consider selling the GR but anyone I've mentioned it to has just said "WHY?" 😂

My car is now in storage and being looked after by a close friend until 2025... 🥺

A summer trip to North Wales with a few likeminded friends did it for me, can recommend.
