Another oil change (Mobil 1 ESP 5w30) and gearbox oil change. I've received the Gerald Just oil pressure kit but have misplaced my deep sockets and access to the current sensor is a bit tight, so that'll be another day. As of this point next week I'll be at a certain 20.8km toll road :D

Two separate GR86s and a MK2 Yaris spotted today, love to see it. The amount of bird excrement in the air is slightly winding me up though. Job site might change pushing my already healthy mileage even higher, just happy the mileage reimbursement has gone up 10p/mile!

If you're going to be going round as a true tourist, i.e. not pushing at all, I'd say go for it. It's an incredible experience to drive. Keep right, keep checking mirrors (as driver this is your responsibility), indicate for faster cars. If you're there in the next few days its weekday evening...

40k dealer service at Abbey Toyota yesterday. Asked them not to do the brake fluid and they knocked a bit off the price, and a cup of tea whilst I waited. Been mulling over whether to continue dealer service for the warranty, given I track it and will be tracking it more often from next year...

The HEL kit has a thermostat, but as mentioned the oil temp is just low in winter on motorway miles. Prefer to just disconnect it. My understanding of the kit is that it always flows, the thermostat opens fully at setpoint but never closes fully.

It's certainly one to watch, I agree. Can always buy new end fittings to the sandwich plate, but a set of new hoses requires bumper off. I haven't run the cooler in summer (only bought it in October last year) so I may end up leaving it connected during the hotter season, but I high mileage...

Yup. The caps for the setrab fit nicely on the end of the two hoses. Just personal preference, I know you can get baffles to limit the coolth on daily driving

Mine weeped out of the right-side connection to the Setrab cooler on first use. It is possible to 'untighten' I suppose during final fitment in the body, double check every connection and ensure everything is very tight. Not uncommon to oil coolers I suppose. No complaints to the HEL kit in...
