My knob seems to be a bit loose, possibly from excessive use, has anyone tried the Blitz knob from Fensport?

After months of never seeing another GR86 in the wild, I only went and saw two today!
Red in Nottingham at about 1.30 today looked very lovely and a lot cleaner than mine.
Grey in Littlebury with an enthusiastic wave from the driver!
Both looked awesome in the arctic wastes of the UK road...
I see what you mean now, I was being a bit slow on the uptake.
There is an AUX port, you'll need a CD player that can be powered by USB, or at least 12v with an adapter. Or a battery powered one, but that would get boring pretty quickly.
Why would you need Bluetooth if you just want to play CDs?
If you want to send music from your phone as well, you can get loads of amplifiers with Bluetooth built in.
I'm in Edinburgh for Christmas, spreading my mother-in-law's ashes near North Queensferry on boxing day, but will try to make it if there's time as I'd love to see (and hear) more GR86s.
I had a lovely Boxster (986) a few years ago and absolutely loved it, except for the constant nagging in the back of my mind that it was going to go wrong at some point soon, and the the inevitable 4-figure bill to sort it, as every bill seemed to be.
It was a great car to drive but probably too...
My GR86 kind of replaced two cars - an MX5 NC2 (weekend / track car) with some nice additions and a BMW 420d GC (daily) - but I also bought an Alfa 146ti with 27k on it, as I had one when they were new back in the late 90's.
The MX5 with the demo GR86 I drove:
The BMW with the Alfa:
The MX5...
Yes, that's annoying too. The drive is formatted in the same way and has been used in various cars before, but even when an album is selected it plays from the first track every time.....
Very odd. I'll try a different USB though, just in case.
Hi All
I'm hoping someone has found a solution to this as it's annoying me.
Whenever I have selected USB as the audio source it resets back to the first track on the USB every time I start the car.
Is there a way to get it to carry on playing from where I left off?
Ideally I'll just set it...
Thanks to @TheRealMyodo @Dal3D and @ninjin for the help on this thread, I now have the Focal speakers, sound deadening and Puzu amp installed and have loaded an excellent DSP profile that sounds great.
My neighbours think I'm insane for sitting on my driveway with the engine running and tunes...
I enjoyed that, their reviews are usually very good and their purchase of the GR86 was part of the reason I wanted one. I just wish they did even more videos on it 😂
Makes me yearn for some decent weather to drive in too...
Just did the last bit on my lunch break, first impressions are very good but I think I need a decent drive to be sure ;)
Next step is to fit the Puzu dsp amp, but that looks a lot more involved so will have to wait a bit.

I used this, it isn't a perfect match, slightly too glossy, but it's close when it dries.
It doesn't take away the annoyance of kerbing it in the first...
