Hi everyone,

I’m planning to buy a KW coilover kit for my GR Yaris.

Most of the time, I’ll be using the car on the street, with maybe one or two track days occasionally.

I’m currently deciding between the KW V3 Coilover Suspension and the KW V3 Racing Coilover Suspension.

For this type of use, which one would you recommend? Is the V3 Racing noticeably different from the standard V3, and is it worth the extra cost for a mainly street-driven car?

Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has experience with either setup.

KW Racing is for mainly track cars, not worth it for a street car, because of maintenance schedule o overall stiffness. It is also designed for slicks (or semislicks), for your use i would go for KW v3, or Ohlins Road and Track.

KW v3 and clubsport has quite soft springs so I would assume both are ok for street use. Clubsport gives more adjustability, but if you're not into it regular v3 is likely fine.

I haven’t seen a commercial Ohlins set for the Gen2. I think a couple of members had development sets when the car released but doesn’t look like it made it to market.

I also see a few cars at the Nurburgring running MST (I think) but again another set that doesn’t seem to be available for purchase.
