VW Up! GTI

I seem to have bought another car . . .

I bought a 2010 Renault Twingo 1.2 back in 2018 for the sum of £2000. The kids used it to learn to drive and then scoot around in. Just MOT'd it and it had a load of advisories and it was covered in minor dents etc. #1 daughter has her own car now and #1 son works from home (mine!) so doesn't have much need for a vehicle. I was using the car for trips to the shops and collecting firewood, so I *thought* about selling it on and put something on Facebook to my friends to gauge interest. It sold last night . . .

I had been looking at a VW Up! GTI that a local used car place had for sale, so much that I'd had a test drive.

I pick it up at the end of the month . . . (2019 1.0 three cylinder, turbo)

It's another car that's on the list that could replace my Swift. Apparently ESP can't be fully turned off if you want to really chuck it about but there was a mod for this I read briefly. I do like the idea of one as on a decent all weather tyre it would get anywhere.

I'm calling bullshit as even trying to follow up this person gets no response. Just wondering why some random person would come up with this sort of rubbish.

I've never used car vertical personally, but the million adverts I see on YouTube imply that even when a car is assessed by a repairer there would be a record, nevermind only highlighting write offs.
