After much back and forth, should I, shouldn't I? I've taken the plunge and traded in the 86. I'm sure I will miss it and possibly regret it!! however I had an itch etc etc.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the good people on this forum you've been great. It's really refreshing to get supportive and informative answers when you post as opposed to those you might receive on other 'similar' forums. Also big thumbs up to the Admins.

I will have the following for sale shortly (DM me in the meantime if of interest):

TRD engine oil filler cap / 3D Maxpider mats /Auto style front & rear mats red / Bilittworkz aluminium shift knob red (no shift pattern) non weighted so same weight as original. / DrivenMedia blinking 3rd brake light.

Oh and Happy New year to you all!

Cheers
Tony

That's a shame, sorry to see you go....what have you traded in for, anything interesting?

Might be interested in the 3D mats if they're in decent nick.

Thanks, hopefully I will still catch up with you guys at various events......if you'll have me!! I've gone for a G87 M2, it's a manual so throw me a bone!
The mats are in good condition, I will post up a picture at the weekend as I'm away at the moment.

All the best πŸ‘

Please keep for sale items in the marketplace section @TR1 otherwise you will disrupt your own thread.

Going on last years' Sports Cars In The Park gathering I think the 'S' actually stood for Saloon rather than Sports, so you'll be reet! Did you snap the indicator stalk off at point of purchase btw? I think it's mandatory for both Beemer and Audi drivers;)

The M2 looks good, manual or auto?
How does it compare to the GR, should be much quieter in the cabin.
It's a manual, that was an none negotiable! Very different from the GR86, definitely feels heavier and wider with a fair bit of turbo lag if your not on it. On the plus side it will step the back end out at will, I turned TC fully off today..... I think perhaps waiting a bit longer until it warms up and rains less might be prudent! The cadin materials, build quality all feel next level but I guess your paying for that and it's definitely quieter, which wouldn't be hard as my GR had the AWE track exhaust!

M2's are epic (both last gen and current gen). You will love it - great all rounder - and the "ambience" and engine sound (+ Harmon Kardon speakers) are next level. Also great to be able to tailor the config of the car according to your mood - sharpening / softening response of suspension, throttle, brake feel etc.,
