That’s disappointing. Would’ve expected improvements there considering Toyota are always banging on about “improvements”!

Hope the paintwork and underbody protection has improved? Along with discs! 😖

Dealer has 3 on order including mine. We all cancelled our Type 24 orders for 26. As to when they’ll arrive is anybody’s guess? Probably a Type 28 by then! 🙄

Any news on Type 26 delivery dates? My dealer is fed up with me asking!

Maybe Toyota will offer customers a 45Nm torque upgrade for £1000! 😆

I’d expect reducing torque would increase emissions by having to increase revs due to less torque? But then I guess it depends more on the emission test criteria?

Anybody any thoughts on the reduced torque (45Nm) but same power on the latest Gen2? Toyota say for emissions ? Could it be to protect the pistons too?

Minus 45Nm? Is that for all countries?

Has Toyota any input on the piston failures? Surely they’ll blame the owners first but must know the real cause?

The auto box isn’t “ultra rare” as it’s used in other Toyota models.

Any new GRs coming to the UK? Doesn’t seem to be much moving which is ludicrous with buyers waiting.

Standard fitment on Hyundai i20N, fronts last 4000 miles and increase Ackerman effect so owners fit something else

Is the manual gear change any better on the Gen2? I found the Gen1 too heavily weighted and imprecise

😄 Yes, a bit OTT but does have better ergonomics, display, trim, economy, gear change and practicality and is fun to drive. Just a pity it gets so wayward on UK bumpy roads where the GR just soaks it up.

Well this Hyundai i20N works for me! Having tried and been disappointed by both GR analogue and digital the Hyundai modes and display can be swapped around easily via large steering wheel buttons on the move. Yes it has lap, G forces, all temps, boost, and brake pressure etc etc and on...
