Quiet afternoon session at Knockhill on Monday. Some interesting machines on track (see image 5 in the gallery for something mildly recognisable).
Have since driven to Fort William, Skye, and now Aberdeenshire; a NE250 run on Sunday; back to Knockhill on the 3rd, before a drive back to Sussex...
Good man, take it you get dealer servicing every 10k then? Sitting at a sprightly 36k and loving it, depending on what happens with work I might start pushing much higher as well.
The car just does everything so well, that I'm not in any rush to sell. Nothing that tickles my fancy, but I do...
They appear to be out of stock of the 225/40 R18's, which is annoying.
I can get an order on the Halfords site (which I assume uses the same stock) but it won't allow me to spec a 225 width tyre using my 86 reg. Their site is annoying to use, so I might be the issue there.
Lot of drivers in the racing clips, plus others, tracking oil pressure - plus spoken with a few at track days also doing this. What are people using to do this? As I plan on going to track quite a few times this year and will definitely start to monitor this.
Three weeks without a crank, it was notably sluggish but still fired up and charged back OK on the screen today. I'll be running it as normal now so will just monitor to see. Nice to see a replacement isn't too many coin.
Also check that they do the brake fluid as per that screenshot a few items up. They didn't do mine.
Welcome to the forum, and to the trials and tribulations involved in getting Toyota main dealers to service their own vehicles to their own mainenance specification  Trust that it won't...
Driftworks have a decent BF sale on a fairly large selection of brands.
25% off Japan Racing SL01's has me very tempted, as they are the wheel I've been drawn to the most for a track-specific set of lightweight rims.
No clue on what fitment I'd be after, in fairness.
I run 225 winter tyres because they were a decent chunk cheaper than 215 equivalents when I was buying them. Didn't buy them for any other reason than that
Abbey Toyota will also take your own oil for the first 3 years, if you are so inclined.
Always great service there, just phone to book as the booking form via Toyota's website doesnt work for them.
My invoice at 20k Toyota service was £50.67 (2x quantity) for Gear Oil, £1.81 and £1.75 for the two washers, giving a total of £104.90.
(all wrapped up in that atrocious £545 total cost).
