Hard to judge from pictures, and I have not seen a mk2 in person yet, but I wondered if anyone who had hands on with both could comment on whether the mk2 taillight assembly looks like it would fit a mk1? I am a sucker for a rear light strip...

The biggest problem I have with the interior is that when I first saw it my eyes were drawn to the big red button. "Now that is a cool engine start button" I thought, positioned prominently at the top of the dash for all to see. Nope, hazard lights....

I'd expect the MK1 to hold its value as a collector's piece as it is still the homologated version, the Mk2 is just a mass market car.

I have stopped buying anything but OEM usb cables. You know those are designed to charge at the max specs of the phone using the supplied charger, and they support data. I have several of the OnePlus cables as they all support "Warp" charge - as a bonus they are red so match the GR accents!
