Yep I had 2 GT86's and they both had an alarm on them. Was annoying when I left the dog in the car to go pay for my petrol and he would set the alarm off. But I would rather have that slight annoyance to be honest than not have an alarm at all.

Anyone tried waiting 30 seconds to see if it goes off after a certain amount of time after locking with the boot open or a door open for example. Haven't tried this myself yet.

Yeah I tried the activating the alarm steps and nothing happened. So I think it's just an immobiliser. Will have to alter my insurance.

I had 2 GT86's and they both had factory fitted alarms as my dog was always setting it off. Also when sometimes giving it a clean I would accidentally lock it when touching the door handle. If the boot was open the alarm would then sound on the Gt86 after getting a few warning bleeps. On the...

Yep new shape. I liked it to drive and it was quick enough but I always thought it was just a bit too big to call a sports coupe. More like a GT car.

2022 BMW 230i. Quite a difficult decision as I liked the BMW. But for looks I think the GR86 beats it. Also great to drive a manual again.
