GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Hit 1000 miles and adjusted the rev limiter bleep from 4000 to 7500, now enjoying the full range of the car and its epic (y)
How do you adjust the limiter? I had a look on the manual and couldn’t find anything?
Does the car have to be running?
I’ve not driven my car yet so just wanted an idea when I do.
Cheers

At a stand still you go into the main screen and adjust it. I would recommend lower than 7500 though since that is where the hard rev limit is.

When adjusting your limiter beep, there are certain important implications one has to be aware of.

For example, you may - totally hypothetically and in no way related to any specific example - have to have a fellow occupant/passenger with you from time to time who reacts with barely disguised (if disguised at all) disgust if you were to activate said limiter beep when driving. She may (sorry THEY as this is totally hypothetical) even name the limiter beep as a "tw@t meter" and exhibit a Pavlovian response to any beep, namely immediately muttering "tw@t" in a faint but certainly audible fashion.

All totally hypothetical of course.

If only the beep could be modified to say "well done" 😁

What HKS system is that please? Do you know what the noise level is like?
Hi Matt, It’s the Hi-Power Spec L 2. Can’t confirm the noise level yet, but I’m hoping it’s going to be just a little ‘fruitier’ than standard with more ‘bark’ at the top of the rev range. It’s supposed to be quieter than the Spec L. Not looking at being too loud, more the slight wight reduction from stock.

Thanks for that. That’s what I’m wanting it for. Sometimes they can be a bit too loud. Weightsaving is only a good thing
