GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Mine's been sitting in the garage under a cover for the last few weeks, but I did manage to finally get round to recovering the steering wheel. Quite pleased with it, considering was a DIY.

Participated at the GR-Event @ the Rallye International du Valais today. Big thanks to Toyota Switzerland for organising such an fantastic day for GR owners. It was nice to meet other enthusiasts and to see how they modified their cars. We have also been allowed to drive our cars as they are meant to be driven. See pics „before & after“ 😎:

took her out to a trackday at the redbull ring spielberg/AT. boy it is a fast track with some heavy braking. stronger cars like m3, gt3, etc. you name it had a clear advantage, but she could keep up and even outperform some of the stronger and much expensive cars out there. good girl she is 🙂

did the horn upgrade today, went the genuine land cruiser „premium horn“ route, the connector fits without fiddling with a new one. if I would know the front bumper needs to go off, I would maybe think it over one more time 😄🤦‍♂️
Nice job (y)

Although I've had the bumper off on previous cars that were older I baulked at taking it off the Yaris, and passed the cable up into the engnie bay instead. You were clearly braver than me :)

Those look proper loud, are they? The PIAA I have aren't very loud, having them under the hood doesn't help much but your positioning is already taken...

just tested then shortly, did not want to disturb the neighbours 🙂 first impressions - as the name of the horns suggests, they sound like premium japanese car 😀, not too annoying, but full bodied and commanding respect when need be

So I noticed the other day that I'd not replaced one of my valve caps. The genius that I am, I popped it on the flat part of the headlight, did all the inflation... Forgot about replacing it, and between noticing it and doing it, have driven the car

Who knows where there gone!

She turned 1 about a week ago, in for service on Tuesday

Urgh and life left on the tyres too. I've also been refused a repair in similar position on the tyre previously.

Feels like an excuse for a set of winter wheels and tyres to me.

Ignoring the fact that you'll still need new summer tyres next year)

Sadly I don't have anywhere to store wheels :(
