I know that feeling, I've only managed to see the Electric/Neptune blue in real life. I went for the Sapphire Blue in the end, sight unseen, as it's nice to have some colour and it can really pop in the sun (from pics), but we'll have to see how it is in real life. I worry the black wheels might get a bit lost.Nope, been to 3 "local" dealers and none of them had red or white either as a demo or awaiting collection. Even checked local autotrader but nothing that was close enough or that i could see today as it was my only chance. Never pulled the trigger on a car without first seeing it in the flesh so i am a little nervous about it.
There aren't many photos of the Trueno edition from higher up/the front/side profile of the car so I ended up doing this in Forza. Thanks for finding and posting this. I can now show others what Iβm getting![]()
Are you getting white with a black spoiler? There aren't many photos of the Trueno edition from higher up/the front/side profile of the car so I ended up doing this in Forza.
I'm trying to decide between a white or a black spoiler. A contrasting spoiler can look good, but I'm not 100% on whether the OEM one works. Are you getting white with a black spoiler?
I considered buying the GT86 Giallo special edition and would probably have gone for Yellow GR to go with my Yellow motorbike.Although I wouldn't have been brave enough to order it, I think they should have offered the 86 in yellow.
There's always the grey one on the end? A bit 'boxy' though imo ......Went to see my new car at the dealer today. They had three waiting for collection. Was great to see them together. I was really conflicted between the white and blue. I think the white is a little too creamy and the blue hides the nice black accents. The red looks amazing on a cloudy day but turns practically orange in the sun. Not so keen on that shade of orange. It was overcast when I took these so looks red.
Thought people who are still on the fence may finds these helpful - I think I would have. The colour accurately represents how they looked IRL to me. Can clearly see the cream of the bodywork against the outer white of the protective wrapping on the white.

HiWell I've managed to actually see a GR86, at a dealer. Silver, with a black ducktail spoiler. Well the silver looks great.
Hi
Did you take/Do you have a photo but chance?
I've ordered Silver and will be having a Silver ducktail fitted. I did think about a contrasting black ducktail but decided against it. I'd love to see what it would look like....
Thanks.I didn't but there are plenty of photos on this forum. Check the members page, and also see Alan's one for sale (with spoiler): https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/ice-silver-gr86-for-sale.4081/
There's always the wrapping solution:I considered buying the GT86 Giallo special edition and would probably have gone for Yellow GR to go with my Yellow motorbike.
Now I have to buy a Blue motorbike![]()
I do like in Yellow, I wonder how much it costs to wrap?
Not a subject I know anything about.I do like in Yellow, I wonder how much it costs to wrap?
He got away with one thereNot a subject I know anything about.
I'm not sure if the owner of the yellow car above is on here or not. Although I was quite literally parked next to this very car at Caffeine & Machine (albeit for only a short time), I didn't speak with the owner!
Funny fella. Good job I'm not easily triggaaredHe got away with one there
Thanks.
I did previously find Al4n's on AT and saved the photos to help me decide on a ducktail. I'll now look on here for one with black contrasting.
