GR86 Carbon fibre bling

Hello fellow GR86 enthusiasts... I wanted to share my mistake so that others don't suffer the same issue. I purchased from AliExpress hard carbon fibre air vent covers. I didn't think these would be different between left hand drive and right hand drive, sadly i was wrong and they didn't fit.

Given my vent still rattles I'm tempted to buy some carbon ones. Once I work out how they come off.

Not that i know of. I found some RHD ones from Japan but they are considerably more expensive.

Thanks @Will300. Just taking a look at the pricing, they cost £213.67 from Tegiwa and would cost £116.27 + £26.11 for shipping from japanparts. I guess it all depends on whether you get stung for import duty.

Added a couple of bits over the last few days, just to try and cover some of the nasty scratchy plastic.

2 x bits of carbon trim and the little metal seat pins.

The seat pins actually make quite a difference IMHO, felt the seats look a bit family hatch without anything to break them up.

Thoughts?

I have a couple of questions about the seat pins; I quite like the look of those.

1. Can you feel them when sat in the seats at all?
2. How are they fitted, and are they easily removable?
3. How much and where from?

Theyre an AliExpress special... and you can't feel them at all.

At a financially criminal £2.30 each plus £1.02 shipping... Come in all sorts, GR, GR Sport bla bla bla.

They come either with little strips of 3M or a pin into the seat. I went 3M although I ended up using some of my own tape as I struggled getting them stuck. It's pretty solid now tho.

I didn't have any residue but they were a bit fiddly to stick down, hence using my own tape. If they'd been stuck properly and needed moving after I'm not sure the residue issue would be the same.
