Personalised plates are quite, er, personal. If it makes you happy that's cool. If it's to impress others, I wouldn't bother.

I was looking at exactly that plate. Thought it worked well. Looks like it’s sold now…

Yeah, it made me smile but sometimes you need a sense check from other people. Guess you you are in the "negative" camp on this particular one.

Yeah, after looking at all sorts of combinations late last night, I thought that was the best I could find without going for my initials or something. I bought it there and then. As I said, it was late and had been looking for a long time that evening by then, so am worried I may have made a boo-boo.

Hearing I wasn’t the only one looking makes me think it can’t be /that/ bad then :rolleyes:

I did like GR 73AM S and GR 73AM R but cannot legally have the letters separated like that apparently 😞
 
Nothing wrong with GR** FUN. I still have 21. Your car, your rules.

No, not particularly negative on it. As it says on the plate, it's a bit of fun. I've looked at some plates, but nothing really makes me feel like buying one (I like the GR86 ones, but they're not a couple of hundred quid).

I like it, congratulations on securing it.

You might have to explain it to some people, but if they are interested enough to ask, they'll probably appreciate it.

GR owners/fans will probably get it straight away.
 
I think it's a good plate, nothing wrong with a personal plate with 2 exceptions, 1. spacing is wrong, 2. 4D plates 🤮

I'm not a big fan personally, but it's your money. I could find better things to put on the car for that money.
I find it quite silly when you see these arranged plates desperately trying to spell a word.
Also it's quite good just having a normal plate, you kind of blend in.
