Collected this yesterday so now have the long task of getting 1000 miles down with the revs low. To be honest I’m not sure it’ll be a chore but it will feel like a long time I’m sure.
The car was meant to have the spoiler fitted before I picked it up so it’s annoying that it’s going to need to go back in so soon. Particularly when the spoiler has been at the dealership longer than the car! Never mind, I’m looking forward to plenty of adventures over the coming months. I might even cross paths with some of the other Scottish contingent👍🏻

@Jonnymito Lovely looking car! Which Dealership up here did you collect it from? It's still a pity that they have to go and bung on a generic registration plate instead of supplying a Scottish one for those of us North of the Border; people might think you're a tourist, especially if you have to make a U-turn when out and about :LOL:

Picked it up from Western Toyota at Halbeath.

They're my chosen delivery centre too, just over a mile up the road from me. Did you get the 'Enhanced Sound' deactivation or 'Window Control' from keyfob? I've put it down as a note for them to do when I pick the car up later in the year but, only if it's free of charge. If it's a cost option I said I'll do it myself as I've got both a VIM and laptop with Techstream on it. Other than that I just asked them not to wash it as the car will be off to 'Zoldani' immediately for PPF and Ceramic Coating. If I see it about I'll give you a thumbs up, so don't worry if you see some strange beardy git in a Navara pick-up waving excitedly..

Can I ask how much Zoldani charge for those, separately? Pick mine up from Glasgow, around the end of Sept.

Here is my latest estimate in the Detailing Thread. £1,266 for full front quarter PPF. £625 for full prep, stage 1 polish and Gtechniq 5yr Ceramic Coatings.

You're both not a million miles away from me, I'm in between both of you! Would be good to meet up at some point but in the meantime if you see a white GR86 driving around it'll be me trying to reach 1000 miles.

I’m pretty sure I saw one coming along Aberdour Rd heading towards the Amazon Roundabout (Sanderling Way). Couldn’t be sure as I was a bit busy getting an earful from SWMBO. 😣
