GR Yaris Who's still waiting

Great stuff (not)....My dealer has now told me my car has been moved back to October delivery. I reckon this car will be delivered next year now haha.
Keep the faith. I was in the May 22 delivery club . Got pushed back to September 22 , then October 22 , but it arrived in August 22. I hope it comes forward from October for you . It is worth waiting for .

Just hang in there, as Fizzio said worth the wait . Because as soon as you get it and drive it you will forget about the agonizing wait

Cheers guys, I was offered an allocation for the new Civic Type R on Saturday and I nearly buckled, but I'm staying true and waiting.

i really like the new FL5. the interior looks great after that FK8 mess. but its more of an serious sports sedan now. Guess with the last NA wich was also the last 3 door they left that way. but to be honest, every new type r was one step further in this direction. so guess Honda stayed true to their vision for the model. i would just like to have a small, light weight, high reving FWD. as much as i like the FL5, its to much in some points. to big, to heavy, to powerful, to much doors, to much tech, to expensive...

thats why i eyed outside of my natural environment (Honda NA-engines) and looked at the GRY. so, i can understand the temptation as well as the decision.

Have been reading here for a while, thought I might register as well and share my 'trip' with you guys... :D

Ordered mine in januari 2022, estimated for september 2022 -> march 2023 -> july/august 2023 -> september 2023 until finally october 2023.

It's a shame we cannot track the order in Belgium via the MyToyota app... Have to call to the dealer each time, who by now already is tired of my calling every 2 months  But last time I called they ensured me that every order will be put in production so fingers crossed (y)

Handover was 2 weeks ago. Now fully run in (1200+ kms).

Love it.

So things are getting serious. Dealer said, the car has been made and is on it's way to Europe and should arrive in September!
After all this time I have spent waiting I am not even sure if I will love it the same way as when I first drove it at a test drive.

You will soon forget the wait and you will also have the bonus of owning one of the last made.

Good news! Tell us the production number when you get it! Mine is expected to arrive in April but I an curious about how many are left

Another update/ delay after chasing the dealer, my car is now queued to go into build September 20th for an early November delivery. Wish it would just come in March now, the car will barely be used over winter.

Hello, same for me, I have been reading here for a while and I got very useful information!

I will make later a presentation, once I get the car.

To answer your message, I ordered mine, beginning of March 2022, in Luxembourg, they closed the possibility of ordering here, few days after! So I should get one of the last cars in Luxembourg.

I think you will be happy to know the following: I got the same estimated date, september 2022, then postponed to march 2023 and then august/september 2023.... but the good news is that the car arrived few days go at the dealer! Time to make the papers and I will go to take it in less than one week!

So it was very long to wait (and it is still now for the last days !), I also didn't get the possibility to track the order via the app ..., and I was tired of contacting the dealer as every time I called, every time the delivery date was changing!

To resume, most probably you will get your car soon! I think that know that Toyota LU and BE are very close and get the same delivery conditions.

Yeah, Toyota BE/LU are pretty useless in that regard.

Are you picking up from Bertrange? The handover suite there is pretty decent as they use of for Lexus too, so hopefully a nice experience for you when it comes!

Here in Luxembourg, there was no way to track the status via the app....
I ordered mine in November 2021 and received it in March 2023.
(According to the contract, it should have taken a maximum of 6 months.)

I ordered in March 2021, was told "maybe 9-10 months", turned out to be 13 in the end as I picked it in April 2022 and as you say, no tracking at all.
