Many years ago I wrote a piece that was letter of the month in "Trout Fisherman" magazine and I was awarded a £50 "Sportfish Voucher"

Im not sure thats up there with the literary genius of Silverfox.....but it was an award for some scribble I had penned!! :ROFLMAO:

We are but a tiny sub-group of accomplished pensmiths, amongst an already highly educated club.

Hmmn - just had a look at their website and the '86' day isn't mentioned - apparently it's the "air cooled appreciation society" weekend 5/6 Aug.

Well I've liaised with C&M and they know the 86s of various vintages are coming, so please disregard my undue fretting above!

I look forward to seeing you all there. I might be round the back/side/front drooling over air-cooled 911s.
