I seem to of paid 1000 to confirm my order and then another 1000 as a holding fee which I understand is returned? Is this correct, I was rather excited and just put it through without even realising what I was paying for…

Yeah, I've opted for cash.

I really wanted the electric blue but as that's not available I've gone boring and chose black. Part of me wishes I'd gone red but I've always liked black cars, what ever I've owned.

Yes, but being a weekend I'd suspect you won't hear anything until Monday at the earliest.

This stage is not automatic as they perform a check to ensure the applicant is entitled to be on the waiting list. If I remember correctly they said it could take up to 5 business days but mine came next working day.
