The dealer says he can't link it to MyToyota until he gets the VIN from Japan. It seems odd that it is possible to link by order ID in some countries and in others it is not. I'm from Czech Republic.
I am starting to be a little suspicious whether the order really exists at all. :-(

Same goes for me. In Germany it's also not possible the use the myT app for order tracking. The dealer told me it's not possible to link. So after some digging o finally found someone at Toyota japan to confirm me that the order is on their system. But that's all I got for two years till now.

I mean in most countries you can link the order to the myt order system. He needs a VIN to link it to the actual app when the user takes the car. Two different things!

Hello,
I surfed on toyota.cz and MyT account. I think we have some kind of a limited version. I can only see "Cars I own" and "My configurations"
If I configure a new vehicle I cannot order it. The only option is just to save my configuration, order a test drive or contact your dealer.
So I think there is no choice to order a car online (like I think I have seen on some videos or posts from UK) and therefore I can't even see the status of an order?
How does your MyT account look? When you configure random Toyota, can you order it?

EDIT:
It seems to be true. I have navigated to toyota.co.uk and I can see "order online" and 4 stages of configuration, that gives you the option to buy. Our Czech site shows just "summary and save".

This is not true btw. My July 21 German order shows up both in My Toyota website but also in MyT app. The app wasn't working until couple of months ago though.

That said, the only information I have is still "processing order" so all it does is to give you another platform to get your hopes crushed...

Indeed. But in all cases I know of, either the App won't connect the order at all or is showing "in process" right until the car shows up at the dealer. Ido not know a case with an actual working tracking on the app.

My dealer told me the app is not properly unlocked for Germany because of some data problems with German Datenschutz...
 
Popped into see my local dealership on Friday. ETA still Q1 2024 here in Estonia and apparently a few others still waiting
 
Hi, my car was supposed to have been delivered in Switzerland mid May, but the dealer told me it’s been delayed until late autumn/year end. I cannot get any details online, so I just have to go with what they’re telling me…

Unfortunately Toyota Japan are very poor at informing countries of reasons for delays.
 
I stopped asking my dealer when mine is due since I purchased a pre registered one a couple of months ago.

2 years has now passed since I ordered it and still no sign. So glad I'm in one anyway.

For me it's Q2 2024, ordered 2022.12 or something around that date. There are others waiting in Lithuania as well. Hopefully this won't be delayed more (as per some posts in this forum) as my patience is thin and there are other cool cars on the market :D
 
Sounds like cars in Europe are being delivered later than UK ones.
