Does anyone feel the brake pedal is a little spongey? I’ve gotten into the habit now of when getting in the car for the first time of the day, pumping the brake pedal 2 or 3 times before it starts to feel more firm.

Could this be an issue? Air in the system perhaps?

Doesn't sound right on any car.
Are you pumping the pedal with the engine running, or before you start it?

That's not right. You checked brake fluid level? Or tracked the car to boil the fluid?

I didn't think mine felt too bad, but they did improve after I had to brake particularly hard one morning to avoid hitting a suicidal rabbit.
Ever since then they've felt noticeably sharper. Perhaps they just need a bit of bedding in? Take the car out, get the brakes warm, then do a few good hard stops, see if that helps at all.

Not been tracked at all, been driven hard but not enough to get to that point. I’ll check brake fluid level when I next go outside.

I think mine are bedded in (ticked over 3,000 miles a week or so ago), it’s not the disks or pads but feels more like something with the fluid.

It feels fine for the rest of the drive and only seems to get spongey again the next day.

Gonna get it booked in then. Ducktail needs another go anyway, started to come off already 😂
Not had any issues with the brakes, definitely sounds worth getting them checked.

Regarding the spoiler, did you have it bolted on or just secured with the 3M tape?

Mine is the same, back edge isn't stuck down, (fitted by dealer, bolted).

Brake pedal on my car is brilliant, pedal is very firm, pads have got a strong cold bite. Makes the APs on my GT86 feel a bit wooden on DS2500s.

Not actually sure, will have to check. If it’s bolted down then it’s fine, it just moves more than I’d like if I absent mindedly lift the boot hatch with the ducktail instead of under the boot lip. But if it’s stuck down it needs some more 3M thrown at it.

Hmm. I bolted mine but there's still 3M tape around the edges, and it feels rock solid. When i get my car back I will check.
Were both of yours dealer fitted? Perhaps they bolted them but didn't bother to tear the backing off the 3M tape, assuming the bolts would be enough to hold it.

Mine was a dealer fit yeah, will have a check later and see if I can understand what they’ve done.

I'm not sure if you've seen the videos but the bolts are stuck on using 3M tape. As a result, most are saying that you don't need to bolt it on.

This is exactly what I'm thinking, I don't really want it to go back to them to touch it tbh, I will take a look but at the moments not really causing an issue.

I think 4 are stuck to the spoiler the other 2 are clipped in.
