FYI 2 GRs on forecourt one 23 plate Scarlet Flare Convenience Pack with delivery miles only. Other a 21 plate Circuit Pack Pure White. FRF Toyota Haverfordwest if anyone's interested.
 
Got my car back from the first 6 month safetycheck. Car has done 9000 km and everything was fine. Paid 43€ which i thought would be far more.

Invested in some Auto Finesse products and spent 4 hours cleaning her. She’s not been washed since I got her back in November. Surprisingly little fallout on it and not much came off on the clay bar.

Thought I better make an effort before Japfest

Are you guys really washing the cars at the yard? In Germany this not allowed due to pollution. At least 3 of 4 neighbours would rant at you and 1 would call the Ordnungsamt ... đŸ˜†

Everyone here in the village does the same. Absolutely normal. It's still the nice difference between town and village

you are not allowed to wash your own car at your own home?
 
That is silly if you ask me but I've heard this from a German years ago on forums... :confused:

As much as I hate to allways drive to a car wash box every time I want to wash my car, it's definitely right to do so. Think about all that soap, oil, debris that is going into the ground. Even if it would be allowed, I wouldn't do it on my yard. Groundwater is a precious thing. But I prefer using common sense than to rule and law everything into the ground.
 
Interesting. I have never thought about it. My runoff goes into our drainage/sewage system. No idea where it goes from there.
