got the new style bolts today not had chance too fit them but seem better than the first set thanks swm (y)
I am a little reluctant to purchase an SW bracket due to the teething problems with fitting on the original 'prototype'.

Has anyone received and fitted one of the latest versions with slider capability? I don't have access to a garage and tools, so anything l get must fit perfectly, with the right number of bolts of the right type and no slotted holes that need filing to accept them. Thanks.

Yes I have just done my driver side without using anything other than normal tools. I didn’t have to source any bolts or file anything.
Just be aware that it isn’t difficult but it took 2 of us with about 40yrs each experience of working on cars 2hrs. It’s the little bits that took time as we had to work out that some bits of plastic had to be removed plus removing the handle without breaking it etc. Ensure the cables are rerouted carefully so they do not chaff and that good stuff.
A garage will tear it to bits in about 30min !
Also note it’s very very heavy and SWM were useless at comms.
I think there maybe better products however the SWM did fit and work perfectly.
I much prefer the seating position in terms of view and the angle of my thigh to the pedals. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply - that reassures me quite a bit. We are going on the Euro Tour in June so will need both seats lowered. I think l might just ask the garage to fit them for me, perhaps buy from Tegiwa and see if they will fit them as well, given Matt's comprehensive video of fitting the fixed version.

1. You refused to give me one several times
2. You failed to ring me back whenever I did contact you
3. Despite being told my item had been dispatched it hadn’t been and arrived weeks later due to some parts not being in stock.

None of the above really bothered me but other people may expect better.
The product was fine though.

I'm glad someone's was. My passenger seat still doesn't slide properly even with the new bolts (which we didn't fit on drivers side as they didn't supply enough) so I have to tilt the seat back fully forward to be able to slide the seat itself forward/back.

It's the worst mod I've done to my car and I wish I'd never bothered but I've sunk several hundred pounds in to this shoddy effort so I'm stuck with it, the lower seat is pretty good but not worth all the stress and cost.

VBD one is spot on and very reasonably priced

So, I don't have to cut or modify the seat at all?

In Australia there's an amp under the drivers seat, not sure of it's the same in UK but I just want to make sure it clears the amp?
I’m from Australia too, did you get an answer about the amp under the seat and if the kit would still fit?
