Drove it for the first time since Monday, when I cleaned it for the first time in months.

It's nice driving a clean car! 🤣

Parked up and looked at it, and it looks like a new car! It was proper filthy before, she it will be again soon in these muddy country roads. But might not leave it as long in between washes this time...

Spent a bit of time avoiding Edinburgh's many and varied potholes today.
This involves some neat manoeuvring, which the car excels at. :)

Inspired by this video, and taking advantage of the temptingly greasy surfaces, I sought out a few local hairpin climbs and, with a blatant disregard for the long-term integrity of my wheels and bodywork, disabled the traction control and went for a bit of a slide.

Still some way off yer man’s skills, but it was very satisfying to get some angles on, especially because I even managed to stay out of the scenery 👍

I manually added two PID's in the Torque Pro App. Now I can also see the gearbox temp and the awd clutch temp. I got the info here on the forum. Thanks! For about 100 € (OBD Link LX + Torque Pro) you can do the same as a can checked :)

Love the steering wheel. Where did you get it done and how much? Was thinking of perforated leather rather than alcantara if l got mine done - is it sticky enough? I find the OEM wheel a little slippery. Thanks.

I started to build my bracket for my horn mount. Never used a tap before, and managed to snap it. Oops. Think I've got a nice block for mounting them now though, just need to buy a replacement m6 tap now

Hi Mate, I did at work as I was doing the Oil-Cooler set up as well, I followed the instructions from GR Yaris forum 🤣 its a little tricky and the hard part is the airbag removal you have to use some force.. the steering wheel was bought from Black Hawk Japan and £400 del and about 1hr to fi.

Today I got chased by a gigantic white BMW X5,. It's okay I managed to turn it into a tiny white dot but then I drove slowly as I was nearly home and he was tailgating very dangerously. As I pulled into my drive I looked in the mirror and he had wound down his window to mouth something and drove off. He was very red faced. It is a shame he drove off because I've been watching a lot of UFC recently on Youtube and was well up for a Lethal Weapon style front garden punch up in the rain.

Drove it to work today. Thought i'd treat her to a brushless carwash. Payed 29 EUR at a gas station. By the time I got to work she was dirty again. The constant temperature swings from - to + and snow/rain makes the season a nightmare washing wise. That said. She does look good dirty

Found some stone chips along the roof beam right through all the layers of paint (like something has been kicked up and bounced along it as the chips get smaller further back ).

Anybody got experience with something like ChipEx? Is it quite easy to do yourself or am I better taking to somebody that will do a proper job and perhaps combine with some detailing/washing at the same time?

You mean up the a-pillar? ‘Smart repairs’ are perfect for that kind of stuff imo

What colour? I've done a chipex kit on a pearl white gt86, it matches surprisingly well but it's very difficult to get perfect because of the multiple layers you need. If it's just one layer of paint it should be simple
