Hi only thing that works is the find my car feature that live tracks it’s position and you can see it on your phone. Hopefully some other features may become available

Should be Wednesday, although 50/50 on whether the ducktail and mudflaps will get fitted prior to pick up. But I can't be bothered to wait any longer.

Its all happening!! The first notification ever to receive via MyT, a phone call from the dealer at the same time... my GR86 has arrived!! 
So excited Im sharing with you guys before anyone else I know!
Have asked to inspect it before it goes through PDI, no news on ducktail or mudflaps from parts but hope to get that sorted. Think some parking sensors will benefit me and then PPF front end and side skirts.
After all this and being my first ever new car I'll probably wrap it in cotton wool!

Finally, I received call from Toyota online, as well as MyT app update, that my car is at the dealership. The dealership never bothered to update me about anything so far, until I emailed them today to say "I know my car is with you!".
Still waiting for the list (& cost) of parts from the dealership (they really are a bit useless). Wondering how long it will take to have it all (+ parking sensors) sorted.. and if it takes the delivery date in February, is it worth delaying it further until 1st March for the 23 plate. My only concern is that the car will sit out in the open in this weather for that much longer. Anyways I won't be driving it on wet roads (as a father of two and now in 40s, that is how my mind thinks nowadays, unlike until a few years ago.. rather embarassing I know)

Holding off for the 23 plate is only relevant if you don't intend to keep the car for long, for example if you want to sell just as the 24 plate is out then listing your car as a 23 vs a 72 will make it look "newer", if the car is a "keeper" then its pretty much irrelevant, unless you want to impress the neighbours of course, and who doesn't I think I saw a good quote oh PH (where else obviously) about new plates along the lines of buying stuff you can't afford on credit to impress people you don't really like and they don't really give a shit anyway.

My advice? Get it asap and drive it as much as you possibly can, who gives a crap about a number and it's amazing in the wet, very confidence inspiring so do that too!

I suggest driving a GR86 in the wet rather than writing it off as being somehow too dangerous without trying it. I've driven mine in some appalling conditions. It felt safer than the "hot hatch" I had previously. As for when to get the car, if it's at the dealer you could have it in a few days so why wait another almost two months. Get it asap and enjoy it. What list of parts are you waiting for? The accessories list is posted on the forum if it's that.
Interesting you say that.. I myself test drove it in wet and in fact found it very planted and not at all tail-happy / going side ways (even on sharp turns) as some in this forum experienced. Perhaps they had it in track mode?
And then it was the Petrol Ped review that kept emphasising to drive it 'very' carefully and safely throughout the review, that made me err on the side of caution. His exterior cameras showed car moving sideways even on straight roads. Not quite what I experienced during the test drive.

Re accessories - just waiting for the fitted price of spoiler, mud flaps, and whether or not they can order and fit Aero Stabilising cover. Assuming they will take some time to order the spoiler as well.
