GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

Given the run rate of deliveries so far, it seems more likely than not that we might receive a further allocation. All of the glowing press reviews has surely put pressure on Toyota to get more GR86's into people's hands.

I'm not sure how tight deliveries are in the rest of Europe, but if Toyota has until mid-2024, I'd wager another allocation opening up.
 
Collected my car today had the recall sorted already so the my Toyota app is all connected to the car

My GR86 has moved... its now left Derby its home of 7 months and seems to be heading back to Portbury!!! Im not sure if that is a good thing (that was where it started its journey in the UK!) Im just expecting to see it sail off back to Japan like some sort of time rewind practical joke!:cry:

anyone else have their car go from Derby to Portbury before delivery?

It will be interesting to see how this run rate continues over 2023, particularly as there were around 200 GR86 owners on this forum - half of the total allocation.

I'll keep adding to the list on the first post - so please keep this thread updated once you've collected your cars! (y)

What features do you have from the Toyota app? My connected services have no available or active. Toyota online say nothing is compatible with the GR86. Wondering if it’s actually a recall issue now though?

I asked Online Retail about the recall/connected services as I'd been told by the dealer that MyT would work the same as other Toyotas: "Firstly, the GR86 does have a recall which was very recently announced regarding the DCM (data connection module) for the e-Call SOS feature. However, regardless of the recall the GR86 does not have access to the connected services the rest of the Toyota range does."
 
Just found out today My Car was arrived at Derby on 8/12 and was expected to be delivered to the dealer today but it didn’t happen.

The Lady from Toyota Online was very helpful and offered a courtesy car until my car is ready to be collected. She said my car is waiting to be done the final inspection.

Hopefully , I can collect my car next week.

Did you nudge the dealer to sort out the recall, or did they do it on their own accord?

Ouch, so does anyone know what MyT actually does show on the GR86? Is it just find my car?
 
Just to mention - I actually picked my car up on 16th December but doesn’t seem to be reflected on the list.
 
Just wondering how things are going in downtown Gunma… Has anyone has moved from ‘processing order’ into ‘build’ phase recently?? If so, what was you order-placed time?

I think some of the orders around 10.30 to 10.40 went into build in December and left the factory just prior to xmas, one of which was mine.

I have just checked the Owners' List/GR86 Register in Post #1 of the Orders / Owners List/GR86 Register thread and Tony458 is at #62 if that helps.

Incidentally, having had another admittedly quick look at Post #1 of the Owners' List/GR86 Register thread and also at the Delivery Dates List in #Post 1 of this Delivery Tracking and Collection thread today (9th January 2023), I reckon that some cross-referencing/reconciliation may be required.

Hoping that assists...
